My love for Japanese Domestic Market cars goes beyond just driving—I’m all about the history, culture, and thrill of the hunt for unique rides. From discovering rare gems to diving into the vibrant car culture, I’ll be documenting as I go! You may be asking.. why tiki and why bunnies? In addition to cars, I'm also a lover of animals with a soft spot--pun intended--for bunnies! We lost our precious girl a few years ago and I miss her everyday. I also have a knack for hosting and entertaining in my personal tiki bar and it's usually where you'll find me visiting after a night at the auctions!

A LOOK IN THE REAR VIEW
1990
A Nissan Prairie Matchbox car finds its way into my young hands and it's a total mystery to me. I was a kid that knew every car driving by, so it sparked my curiosity and was the first step of my JDM journey.
1999
Playing Sega GT on the Dreamcast opened my world to Japanese Cars I had been almost completely isolated from. I fell in love with the Honda Beat and the AZ-1 immediately!
2020
The pandemic had us all indoors and hoping for what was next. I remembered my childhood growing up with cars and how I wanted to give my son the same experience with wrenching I had with my dad. Auto journalist Mercedes Streeter's amazing articles immediately ignited the spark to import myself and Tiki Bunny Imports was born!
2021
My first import comes in: a Daihatsu Hijet truck comes in. My second import, a Subaru Sambar with a kit applied was seized and eventually destroyed. Finally the iconic Pink Honda Beat was delivered! Many more JDM cars came next over the years!
2025
I took my first trip ever to Japan! Connecting with the culture, car auctions, my incredible exporter and so much more. I'm importing full-time and enjoying every minute of bringing joy to my customer's daily lives! I love what I do, what it represents and the joy it can bring.
